Over-busy mind? Tense with anxiety? Wheel spinning?
Stop the rush for a moment ...
Being Centred
A space to slow down. A time to think. A way to find yourself.
Being Centred is for anyone who has ever said: ‘I’m all over the place. I’m pulled in every direction, and my life is so stressed and scattered and out of balance I really don’t know who I am any more. There's got to be more to it than this!’

Hi I'm Kate Bird and I've developed and taught this unique and very practical course for some years at my local college in Evesham, UK. Over the eight weekly classes, you will be shown how to use a range of classical techniques for increased well-being and personal growth, all taken from ancient meditation practices and modern psychology. They include learning how to slow down and become calmer, physically, mentally and emotionally.

Learn how to use them to:
Become more relaxed, balanced and grounded
Gain inner strength and self-knowledge
Raise your confidence levels and self-esteem
Manage your emotions, deal with your daily life
Develop your insight, increase your creativity
Gain perspective on your issues and learn to let go
The course covers deep relaxation of mind and body, the universal skills of meditation and spiritual practices (jargon-free and no dogma attached), and how to re-energise yourself through psychological self-awareness. Just take what you need and leave the rest.
All the techniques are done sitting in a chair. They are straightforward, easy to do and can be learned quickly in class. Followed with regular short practice at home, they can have an uplifting, life-changing effect.
‘The course has helped me to focus on the important things in life and realise what matters even more than I did before.’ Julia G. Evesham
Learn how to use these skills for yourself, begin to get back in touch with your real self, and discover inner freedom. Explore what you need so that you can live life from your own calm centre.
